Description

Torta Pounder has a loud funky nose with a sweet ending. The initial funk is made up from some type of orange gas that is reminiscent of sherbet with a sour overlay. I was also picking up inconsistent notes of light earthiness that is comparable to a forest. This strain is complex and has a unique terpene profile that is sure to please the nose.

For its flavor, Torta Pounder created a strong gassy exhale with light hints of citrus and orange gas at the end. The gassy upfront with the citrus/orange finish was definitely a nice twist.

Even though the aroma was pretty unique I think the best part of this strain is definitely the effects. It creates an extremely relaxing buzz that is perfect for nighttime use or if you need to catch up on sleep. The head high was very soothing and potent that zaps any stress or worries away, while the body high I could feel from my head to toes. This smoked like a pure Indica so I will pick this up again for my nighttime or day off smokes.

Overall I gave Torta Pounder a 90% because I feel like it checked off all the boxes consistently, with the high being my favorite characteristic. Usually with these heavy nighttime strains the flavors won’t be as complex as those daytime smokes, but Torta Pounder on the other hand adds some complexity with that orange gas profile. I definitely will be picking the strain up again from Ted’s.
